Chief Executive Officer

David Weiss

David leads the company as CEO and President for Numara Software. David oversees the company's plans to develop and acquire new products and services and increase its international reach. During his tenure at Numara Software, the company has added eight integrated ITAM solutions to its line, expanded its global presence and achieved market recognition as the third largest market share leader in ITSM solutions globally. He has a wealth of industry and organisational leadership experience. Formerly the President of Blue Ocean Software, David led that company's development of Track-It! into the leading IT help desk and asset management product for small and medium-sized businesses, helping IT professionals at more than 45,000 customer sites track over 14 million assets worldwide. Prior to Blue Ocean, David was Vice President of Marketing at Citrix, where he helped lead the business from 60 employees and $15 million in revenue in 1995 to nearly 2000 employees and over $600 million in revenue in 2001.  A graduate of Duke University, he holds bachelors' degrees in computer science and economics. He is also a member of the CEO Council of Tampa Bay and the Tampa Bay Technology Forum.

Vice President of Global Operations

Tom Banta

Tom is responsible for the company’s global Operations at Numara Software. Tom joined Numara Software when it was owned by Intuit in April 2004 to run the product development team. Prior to joining, he was President of ClickSafety, a SaaS based e-learning company. He was an executive at ecommerce provider Harbinger Corporation as the company grew from $19 million to $150 million in revenue. Additionally, Tom spent 11 years in leadership roles at ERP provider JD Edwards as they grew 45% annually. Tom holds an MBA from Emory University and a B.S. in Accounting from Kansas State University.

Chief Financial Officer

Mike Branca

Mike is responsible for the Financial and Accounting operations organisations worldwide for Numara Software. He says he was attracted to the Numara Software opportunity because it brings him back to his roots. His experience includes 13 years with IBM, serving as Controller for the $2 billion division that developed Mainframe VM, MVS, and VSE Enterprise Systems Software. Mike has had more than a decade of experience serving as CFO for both public and private companies including MTS Medication Technologies, Trak Communications and Reptron Electronics. His background includes working closely with a private equity firm, resulting in over a four times return on investment for stakeholders in a three-year period. Mike earned an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the University of Scranton.

Vice President, Products

Matt Dircks

Matt guides the Product Strategy, Product Management and Product Development functions for Numara Software. With over 20 years of software industry experience spanning product strategy, product management, product marketing, product engineering and corporate development, Matt has held executive positions with leading software vendors including Director of Global Product Management at Citrix Systems, Senior Vice President of Products and Markets at NetIQ, and Senior Vice President of Product Strategy at Best Software, and most recently General Manager of the Server Virtualization Business Unit at Quest Software. Matt graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Business Administration, and serves as a board member of several early-stage technology companies.

Vice President of Customer Services and Support

David Giles

David leads the Technical Support, Training and Professional Services organisations at Numara Software. As Customer Advocate for all Numara Software customers, he owns the end-to-end customer experience, from initial contact through customer support, including driving process and product improvements throughout the Business’ operations. He joined the company under Intuit in July 2003. David has over 20 years of leadership experience in product development, product management, marketing and services management with Claris Corporation, Intuit Inc. and Numara Software, Inc. David joined Intuit in 1997 as the Director of Marketing for Intuit's Japan business unit. David holds B.A. degrees in Japanese Language and Economics from Stanford University.

Human Resources Director

Mary Koehler

Mary is an HR executive with over 20 years of organisational experience ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-up entrepreneurial businesses.  She is focused on building positive, team-oriented work settings that enhance profitability and reinforce corporate values.  Previously she was the Director of Human Resources for Axolotl Corp,a provider of electronic health information management solutions, where her innovative staffing initiatives helped grow the Medical Transcription aspect of this business.  She has also served in executive HR positions at Achieve Global, Salomon Brothers, GE, and Verizon.  Mary holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford, CT and a Master of Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University.

Vice President of Global Marketing

John Machonis

John leads the Global Marketing initiatives at Numara Software. John joined the company in December, 2004, shortly before the divestiture from Intuit. He has over 26 years of sales and marketing experience having held executive leadership positions at: Basis Technology Corp., a provider of software and professional services that enable companies to operate their technologies in foreign languages; UNIFI Communications, which provides enterprise messaging solutions; and Western Digital / Standard Microsystems, a leading manufacturers of high volume Arcnet, Ethernet, and Token Ring products in the Local Area Networking marketplace. John is a graduate of Miami University – Oxford Ohio and holds a B.S. in Business & Marketing.

Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Ed Reilly

Ed is responsible for sales and sales development globally. With over 20 years of experience, he has driven sales growth at leading technology companies and organisations with more than $1 billion revenue - in infrastructure management, CRM, ERP, and service management. Earlier, Ed was Vice President of Sales for Permabit Technologies, an innovator in the storage management space. Ed was also vice president of EMEA sales for Symantec's Altiris unit, General Manager for Altiris' EMEA operations and vice president of sales for Peregrine Systems/US eastern area. He held positions at Siebel Systems and Oracle as well. His expertise includes sales, sales management, business development, IT operations and finance. Ed graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Accounting.

Managing Director - EMEA and APAC

Andy White

Andy leads all International business activity for Numara Software with key businesses throughout EMEA and APAC. Andy joined Numara Software in 2006 and has successfully grown the international business by over 200%, driven targeted expansion in EMEA and APAC and extended in region capacity. Andy remains focused on continued global expansion and extending Numara Software’s sales, marketing, support and professional services capacity in Europe and APAC through direct and specialized indirect delivery channels. Andy has worked in the IT industry for over 20 years, 14 of which have been dedicated to the IT Service Management and Customer Service technology sectors. In this time he has been a regular contributor to industry discussions, speaking events and exhibitions and is a thought leader in our industry. Before joining Numara Software he held senior international sales and marketing positions with FrontRange, Motorola and Mitel Networks.
