Numara Software Showcases New Research at the itSMF UK Service Management Conference 2010
Tim Pollard, EMEA Managing Director delivers key findings from the comprehensive research
Reading, UK, 8th November 2010: Numara® Software, Inc. global leaders in service desk and asset management solutions, will present key findings from new research at the itSMF Service Management Conference 2010. A New Dawn for Connected Service Management drills down into integration and fragmentation issues surrounding IT Management and will be unveiled by Tim Pollard, EMEA Managing Director.
The research was commissioned by Numara Software and conducted by independent analysts, Freeform Dynamics. 150 organisations were surveyed across Europe to investigate the IT Management challenges businesses faced today and those expected in the next 12 months. Specific focus areas were Service Management, Licence Management, and the Asset Management Lifecycle. In particular, the research measures the ‘burden factor’ IT managers are forced to deal with when trying to manage a fragmented IT environment with a patchwork of applications, infrastructure and tools. The research demonstrates that the more control IT managers have over their IT environment the more likely they are to receive additional investment.
Tim Pollard’s presentation on 9th November will highlight the major findings from the report and he will offer a pragmatic view of how IT departments can transform the services they offer to their customers.
